LETTER STYLE

LETTER STYLE

Full Block Style
Full block style business letters have a formal appearance, however they can be used in informal business situations as well as formal ones. If you are looking for a single format that will work well in every situation, this is a good one to use.
Notice that the following business letter format is laid out so that it is easy to read. It is also a template that is very easy to type, as there are no indents to worry about.

Semi Block Style
The semi-block format business letter is a little less formal than the block format letter and slightly more formal than the modified block format letter. It works well in almost all situations and is a good choice if you find yourself on the fence about which format to use.
Semi-block business letters differ from most others in that the first line of each paragraph is indented. Look at the modified semi-block business letter template if you’d like to try another format with indentations. It is the least formal of all the formats shown on this page.

Indented Style
Indented Style as a grooved / toothed shape. As for the format paragrapnya with semi-block style. Unlike the style of writing the address with other letters, how to write the address on the Indented style is placed on the right.

WHAT THE DIFFERENCES ?

Full Block Style is the form of the letter that the writing is all started from the left edge. that is to say, from the date, the closing word to the attachment written at the bottom of the writing starting from the left.

Semi Block Style, the difference lies in writing the contents of the letter and each new paragraph menjoraok (go inside). in practice, the letter with this form is widely used by the company.

Indented Style, writing the address on the letter is not flat or shaped like a ladder, and every new paragraph indented into.

Mr. Dennis Purdy, Manager
MGM Grand Hotel and Casino
3799 Las Vegas Boulevard South
Las Vegas, NV 89109

Dear Mr. Purdy:

I would like to arrange with the MGM Grand Hotel meeting rooms and accommodations for a conference of about 400 DCC sales representatives from January 25 through January 29, 2018.

During our search for facilities, your hotel received high marks for its excellent resort and conference facilities. Our MGM event-planning staff is now in the process of planning our spring sales conference and I am collecting information for our planning committee.

We would like to know if your hotel has a banquet room that seats at least 450 people. Also, could we contract at least four smaller meeting rooms near the banquet room that would seat up to 100 people? Finally, I would like to confirm that we will have access to a business center with computer facilities near our conference area

This information will help us confirm our conference location. A response by November 15 would allow me to brief the conference planning committee during our next meeting on May 19. If you have questions for us, you may reach me at the contact points, above.

Sincerely yours,

Carol A. Allen, Director
Event Planning Department
